When is cashback paid and why isn't it paid when we sign?

Signing is a big moment but it isn't the point cashback is paid. Here's what has to happen first.

   Under the terms effective 9 Oct 2026 no reward is due on signature alone. The deal has to become a qualifying transaction first.

   The timing depends on how the operator pays us. If the operator is on our success fee plan, rewards are paid within 30 days of us receiving our fee in cleared funds.

   If the operator is on our subscription plan, it's within 30 days of us getting reasonable evidence that you've moved in. You also need to have paid your first month. That evidence can include confirmation from the operator.

   We may hold a reward back until the minimum term or notice period ends. We'd only do that where we reasonably think there's a material risk of early termination.
