Is cashback based on the asking price or the price we agree with the operator?

Asking prices and agreed prices can differ once you negotiate. Here's which one counts for Cashback by spacebly.

   It's based on what you actually agree. Under the terms effective 9 Oct 2026 rewards are calculated on the genuine first year licence fee. That's the total licence or membership fees payable under your agreement for the first 12 months.

   So if you negotiate a lower monthly fee, your cashback is worked out on that lower figure. The asking price on the listing doesn't set it.

   The terms also protect the scheme. Any arrangement designed to inflate or restructure fees to increase a reward means the reward is forfeited. The participant is removed from the scheme too.

   Our calculator gives an estimate from Price Index asking prices. Your actual reward depends on your actual licence fee.
