Alongside the Price Index we publish office cost guides for cities in the UK and abroad. Here's what's in them.

   We publish cost guides for 14 cities. They're the 2026 edition and were last updated in May 2026.

   The UK guides cover London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, Glasgow, Cardiff, Liverpool and Brighton. There are also guides for New York, Los Angeles, Singapore and Hong Kong. International guides use local currency.

   Each guide breaks its city into submarkets. For each one it gives a range for a private office per desk per month. It also gives a range for a Grade A lease per sq ft per year.

   The guides compare serviced offices with leases by team size. They explain how broker fees usually work. They also list costs worth checking before you sign.

   Treat the ranges as a guide. For this month's asking prices in UK cities, use the Price Index.
