How does the Price Index decide which city an office belongs to?

Offices near the edge of a city could fall either side of a boundary. The Price Index uses a fixed rule.

As of November 2026 the spacebly Price Index places each building in two steps.
First, it matches the building to a city hub by its recorded city name.
If the name doesn't match a hub, the building is placed by distance instead. It goes to the nearest hub centre within that hub's radius. The radius is 32 km for London and 15 to 20 km for other cities.
Buildings outside every hub's radius are left out of the Index entirely.
The numbers page uses the same 32 km distance from the London hub centre for its London counts. You can read the full method at https://spacebly.com/price-index/methodology.
